Tested and Validated Increased Fuel Efficiency

Here is the information that you requested on our stationary engine testing:
1. This test was a 4-53 series Detroit diesel in a Ferguson roller, hydra static drive. We had total control over all the usual variables, speed, load and fuel quantity. We ran these tests at 1600 rpm. The only load was the static load of oil circulation through the hydra static drive system. The engine and the hydraulic oil were brought up to operating temperature before starting testing. We used one quart of fuel for each test. We alternated the tests, one with the XL unit and one without, one with, one without. Each time the test was dramatic and conclusive. Without the fuelmiser, the engine would run for nine minutes and with the Fuel Miser XL installed the engine would run for eleven and one half (11 ½) minutes. That’s 2 ½ minutes or 28% longer run time. My lead mechanic performed each of these tests. We were totally amazed with these results, yet we could not dispute the results.
2. The second series of tests were run on a 200 KW generator, powered by a D343, 425 hp Cat Engine. These tests were performed at our Asphalt Plant facility. The generator was brought up to operating temperature, as was the plant. The first series of tests were performed at full-governed speed and no load. We ran 4 tests using one gallon of fuel, two with the fuel miser and two without. It ran for 18 minutes, without, it ran for 19 minutes with. That’s a 6% increase. We then loaded the generator, we were able to obtain a constant 20% load, as we were not running any material through the plant, we were only running all electric functions that were feasible. Again, we had total control of the variables. These tests were done using 2 gallons of fuel. Again we alternated the tests, starting with the fuel miser installed, then without, then with, and then without. The results were very consistent, 27 ½ minutes without and 30 minutes with the XL installed. That’s 2 ½ minutes or 9% increase in run time. My lead man also ran these tests. Again, we count not dispute the results.At this time I was convinced of the validity of this remarkable product. I had no doubt that further testing would product similar results and they did.
