Q: Since your products are so effective, why aren’t they installed in new vehicles as standard equipment?
A: We need to remember that automobile manufactures just recently started to focus on increasing fuel economy as a result of rapidly rising fuel prices and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For the past twenty years, the focus was on more power and performance. Fuel economy was not the focus and automotive statistics show that on average, the fuel economy of vehicles has not increased in twenty years. In fact…in many cases in has actually decreased. The FUELMiser® technology is patent protected under three patents in the United States and Internationally. While we have had discussions with manufacturers who acknowledged our success on their vehicles, for business and financial reasons we have chosen to focus on the aftermarket segment which includes the 600 million existing vehicles and all of the 20 million new vehicles that are produced each year, rather than limiting our technology to just one manufacturer. Although the FUELMiser Advanced MPXsm Technology will not be installed on new vehicles at the factory, it can be easily and affordably added to the sale of your new vehicle at your local dealership.
Q: Part of your technology includes magnetic energy. Aren't all magnetic devises the same?
A: Not at all... First and foremost, simply attaching magnets to a fuel line will not increase a vehicle’s efficiency or fuel economy. Normal magnets do not have the ability to have an effect upon the fuel. Furthermore, they lose most of their strength when a vehicle reaches its normal operating temperature. However, when a very strong and perpendicular hydro-magnetic energy is applied correctly as part of a comprehensive fuel conditioning system, it will have a significant effect on conditioning the fuel and make the fuel burn more efficiently. Most importantly, the applications of the magnetic energy vary quite a bit. FUELMiser® is unique enough to be granted three patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Our material costs are significantly higher than the costs for the inferior materials used by other products. You will find that most other products loose their energy during actual use which is a key reason why so many of those products deliver promises instead of guaranteed results.
Q: One competitor claims to manufacture and private label your product, is this true?
A: This is NOT TRUE. We perform ALL of our own manufacturing, completed to our own specifications and only FUELMiser can provide our patented Advanced MPXsm Fuel Conditioning System. Only we can manufacture genuine FUELMiser products. Back in the 90's we did share manufacturing of the older, basic technology, designed for older vehicles, with another company but that ended many years ago. They may still want to claim to be like FUELMiser but that simply is not true. Only FUELMiser can provide the cutting-edge, Advanced MPX Fuel Conditioning System.
Q: What do you have that is patented?
A: There are basically two types of patents... DESIGN patents which allow protection only for the design and "look" of an invention and UTILITY patents allow protection for how an invention works. We have two Design patents and most importantly, our Utility patent that protects our unique technology application with nineteen separate claims and the devise configuration. In addition, we have also filed our patents Internationally, most with US priority. This is why NO OTHER product can use our patented, Advanced MPXsm Technology application.
Q: Why is the FUELMiser® MPX more expensive than some other products?
A: Many companies are trying to capitalize on the rising cost of fuel by offering all types of "magic pills, vortexes, and cheap magnets." It’s simply impossible to compare FUELMiser’s quality and effectiveness with the numerous gadgets being offered today. These cheap products are not validated with independent testing and/or credible fleet usage such as Fortune 500 Companies, corporate transportation companies, and municipalities. Instead, they simply publish a testimonial or two using only a first name and a State. For guaranteed results and a product that will last over many years of use, buying a cheaper competitive product is a waste of money and a mistake. We use proprietary materials and manufacturing process, only the highest grade of heat-stabilized materials and include other benefits like; patented Advanced Insulative Shielding, extended magnetic exposure/penetration, weather resistance, etc. Our manufacturing costs and cost of materials is far greater than other products that only provide the older, basic applications of magnetic energy and use inferior materials. Q: How much can I expect to save with the FUELMiser® Advanced MPXsm System?
A: Our original EPA recognized laboratory tests, our national average with Fortune 500 Companies such as XEROX and McDonald’s, Corporate Transportation Companies such as the National Limousine Association members, and Municipalities have provided us written documentation as to 10% to 15% savings, depending on the vehicle. MPG always fluctuates on a day-to-day basis, so you need to think in averages and seasons. Also, many users find that they still get the same performance even with a lower octane gasoline and this can add significantly to the savings. But remember, do not use any fuel that is of lesser octane than what the car manufacturer requires.
Q: Where should the FUELMiser MPX be installed?
A: Your dealership or service center will place the FUELMiser MPX along the inbound fuel line and preferably between the fuel filter and as close to the fuel injectors or carburetor as possible. The FUELMiser MPX can also be installed further back by the fuel tank if no closer placement is available, but this is not the preferred placement.
Q: Does the FUELMiser MPX work on older/higher mileage vehicles?
A: Generally, it may take a little longer to see the positive results on these vehicles. This is due to the nature of the technology itself since a cleaner, hotter combustion starts to clean-out carbon & varnish deposits. This "cleaning-out" may tend to contaminate the combustion during this initial process. However, as the system gets cleaner, your mileage will start getting better. And you should also experience easier starts, a smoother running engine, etc. In limited situations where the fuel system is very dirty, initial results may show a decrease in mileage during the initial "cleaning-out" period. Remember this is temporary and will get better as the clean-out progresses. Generally, depending upon the degree of carbon & varnish buildup that existed in the engine, the clean-out period may take as little as 500 and as many as 3-4,000 miles to complete.
Q: How long will the FUELMiser MPX last?
A: The FUELMiser MPX will last for many years of use. Our Advanced MPXsm Fuel Conditioning System units are guaranteed to last a minimum of 3 years. However, actual use should far exceed our guarantees and our customers are reporting 5-8 years of actual effective use.
Q: How do I know the FUELMiser MPX will work on my fuel line?
A: FUELMiser MPX is designed to effectively penetrate all fuel lines, even the steel wire mesh lines used for luxury/performance vehicles.
Q: Can the FUELMiser MPX hurt my cars computer?
A: No, most every computer we have seen is in the passenger compartment, either under the dashboard or under the front seat, FUELMiser MPX is placed along the fuel line that is outside and away from the computer. In addition, our exclusive Advanced Insulative Shielding Technology greatly reduces the outer magnetic gauss so there is far less chance of any interference with other components. Be aware however…Simple magnets or cheap inadequate magnetic products that do not have the advanced shielding such as the MPX, could affect the computer. Eliminate the risk and only install a FUELMiser MPX!
Q: Is FUELMiser Accepted by the California Air Resource Board?
A: Yes it is, as CARB # 543. Any device that is put on vehicles in California that may effect the emissions must have an exemption by CARB. This acceptance indicates that the device won't be detrimental to the mandated air pollution standards. California State (CARB) enforces some of the most stringent air quality standards in the USA.
